a5c7b9f00b Working on a tip from Iscariot, Alucard, Seras, and a mercenary team hired by Hellsing go to Rio de Janeiro to find and eliminate Millenium. When they arrive, they are confronted by a S.W.A.T. team sent by Tubalcain Alhambra, a member of Millenium.
The vampire Alucard, his master Sir Integra Fairbrook Wingates Hellsing, and his newly sired ward Seras Victoria, try to protect England from a war-crazed SS-Major who seeks to start an eternal war with his vampire army.
First off, I just finished this anime. It started off feeling all kinds of cool but ended with only some kinds of cool remaining. The art, animation and action sequences were top notch, and easily a 10/10. The characters were all more or less bad a**, but that, is sadly where it stops. The anime makes you expect more, and it does have lot of potential for in depth characterization and exploration of myriad themes. But somewhere along the line, it fell of the legendary wagon, and ended up on an above average awesome train. I don't feel like it gave closure, and some of the extreme gruesome scenes were done with no real value to it. (which p****d me straight off) Overall, you do like the anime a lot somehow, and it is more than just entertaining or plain enjoyable. I do recommend this to fellow anime fans, who primarily love action anime with stylish coatings, a decent story and characters who could have been so so much more.
Hellsing the OVA Series is a brilliant piece of work.<br/><br/>It follows the manga much better than the original anime series, although the soundtrack to the original was brilliant, so is the OVA's.<br/><br/>Alucard is more deep in character than the last time and so is Anderson (even more so,) and many scenes that didn't make the anime appear in the OVA.<br/><br/>The graphics outdo the original series (and most other animes for that matter,)they utilise cgi in important scenes. The same voice actors from the original show are here, along with a few new ones.<br/><br/>overall, i recommend this to any and all Hellsing fans.

The studios Satelight (OVA 1 through 4), Madhouse (OVA 5 through 7), and GraphinicaxKelmadick (OVA 8 through 10) elaborately worked closely together with Kohta Hirano. As a result, they created the OVA (Original Video Animation) of Hellsing which in terms of the story stays very true to the original material. Each OVA is an almost one-to-one transfer of an entire volume of the manga. The animation is top-notch, justthe music. Thus, the OVAs, which include all the epic battles, are a very worthy transformation from Hirano's blood-soaked comics to the TV screen. In Japan, 9 OVAs were already released on DVD, while the tenth OVA is supposed to be released somewhen in 2012.
